In theory, “13 Reasons Why” could’ve been a great series about the tragedy of suicide, but the way it was executed turned the show into an over glorified, revenge-filled drama that romanticizes suicide and mental illnesses. The cliché dialogue and archetypal characters could even pass off as comedic at times if it weren’t for the serious subject matter.  All of these factors warrant why “13 Reasons Why” holds the last spot on our list.
