Every July, the Taste of Chicago attracts over 1 million foodies to Grant Park to try the best cuisine the city has to offer. Inspired by the event, LT will host the second annual Taste of LT at 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 23 in SC room D-103. Instead of featuring local flavors or featuring food prepared by students, the event focuses on creating an opportunity to try all different types of ethnic foods.

The Black/Multi Cultural Club has spearheaded the idea, inviting other LT clubs to contribute dishes attributed to their respective cultures. The Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Greek clubs have been invited to participate. All clubs at LT, even non-ethnic clubs, are invited to sponsor a dish at the event to celebrate diversity. It will also feature artwork by students of all different ethnic backgrounds.  Funds for the event were provided by the Parent Teacher Organization.  The event is free to attend.
